OK. Here it is straight from the horse's mouth... skipping breakfast is a very, very bad thing to do if you want to lose body fat!
And I'll tell you why...
First of all, eating your breakfast is critically important to speed up your metabolism so you can lose body fat. And sure... busy Moms have a lot of reason for skipping breakfast but I want you to understand that the choices you make has a enormous effect on losing body fat.
You see, when you skip breakfast... and never mind the fact that you just woke up and haven't eaten for at least 8 hours... your body starts to say to itself... "Oh uh... bad times are coming! We must slow down the metabolism to survive." And get this... your body starts to store fat. Not good... not good at all if you want to lose body fat.
No sir!
And THEN... lunchtime rolls around and guess what? You my friend, are STARVING! I know, I know... the road to hell is paved with good intentions and all that... but you start to eat more because you are hungry. And if you keep skipping breakfast, everything starts to accumulate and you start adding additional pounds...
Are you starting to get the picture now? Your Mom was right... eat your breakfast young lady! Now for some more details... try to eat a good breakfast within a hour of waking up for maximum metabolism. And breakfast will give you extra energy to get more out of your day. And... you will be more active... which means you will burn more calories...
You see... it all comes together now.
So you are busy... much too busy to make a conventional breakfast of eggs and veggies. In this case, I suggest you start looking for a convenient breakfast cereal. BUT! It has to be the right kind or the cereal won't be helping you out at all...
And the last thing I need is 10,000 angry Moms chasing after me with a spatula. My mother used a spatula to chase my brothers and I out of the kitchen because we were always hungry. So I still have nightmares about it.
But let's just move on...
The RIGHT kind of cereal is the one with very little or no sugar about 8 grams or less. At least 5 grams of fiber. And before you buy the cereal... look at the food label... make sure sugar is NOT in the top 4-5 ingredients.
