How to Lose 10 Lbs in 14 Days Before Your Wedding Day

Image : http://www.flickr.com

It is 14 days before your wedding and you are contemplating losing weight before then. Looking stunning and immaculate in a wedding dress could be the best gift a bride would give to the bridegroom on their big if not biggest day. After founding Mr. Right, inviting eminent dignitaries and booking the church for the occasion of their life, all required is for the lady to look fascinating in her wedding dress while the guy look just as pleasant. Isn't it impressive to see a bride and groom who have the healthy glow, unique alertness and extraordinary energy needed for their wedding day?

However, because of the burning desire to look great for the wedding, couples resort to using drastic measures like fad diets or taking pills for quick weight loss. This is not only unhealthy but may be dangerous setting you for a future of yo-yo dieting rather than bringing lasting weight loss.

The wedding day require a lot of stamina and energy. You will have to greet a lot of well wishers and dance to the music while making sure that everyone enjoys the occasion. Unfortunately, not being in the best of fitness may ruin your plans for the day. Thus, it is expedient that you understand how to lose some pounds before your wedding day and I say in 14 days or two weeks to your wedding day. You don't have to walk down that Aisle carrying some unnecessary pounds. So, what can you achieve in two weeks?

First and foremost, whatever you do, make sure you eat low fat foods and eat more of raw fruits and vegetables. You will definitely lose weight because of the negative calorie effect. Your body burns 16% more calories after you eat a meal that's mostly fruits & vegetables than if you ate a meal without any fruits or vegetables plus...Fruits & vegetables high in vitamin C like... Oranges, lemons, limes, tomatoes, broccoli and cabbage, celery, carrot, pineapples, grapefruit, apples and watermelon burn off body fat so the fat can be easily flushed out of your body.

Secondly, drink water or fruit instead of sugar-based drinks. If you have been taking this before, you will need to stop this which will drastically reduce your calorific intake. Try having a drink in between meals as this can also stave off any hunger pangs.

Thirdly, when you are eating, eat slowly and enjoy your food and lastly, make sure you carry out more than 30 minutes exercise everyday till the last day. You don't have to go to gym or engage in something strenuous. You can walk some few kilometers downtown and you'll be glad you did.

It must be noted that while you will lose weight drastically by observing these modest rules, it is far better if you can observe these rules months before your wedding day.

Having a blissful wedding is what I wish you!

The Perfect Wedding Diet

Image : http://www.flickr.com

I know how important it is for you to be in the best shape of your life for your wedding. I also know how stressful it can be. I also know that stress often leads to binging and over-eating!!! So, how do you stop that from happening? What is the perfect wedding diet???? Is there such a thing as the perfect wedding diet???

There definitely isn't a perfect wedding diet because you shouldn't even be DIETING!!!!!! Ok, so you think I'm crazy for saying that right? I mean how could you possibly lose fat and get toned without DIETING???

The answer is simply, you have to learn how to make the right choices. You need to learn how to eat healthy and moderately.

Your main problem during this time is going to be lack of time. You won't have much time to cook and eat, so you will make wrong decisions. So this is what you have to do.

You have to cook in bulks. You have to choose a day to do your groceries, and actually plan out before hand what you are going to cook so that you can buy those ingredients. Once you have your ingredients and your meals planned, take one day and cook enough food for 3-4 days. For example: You can make 2 cups of brown rice, bake 3-4 sweet potatoes, hard boil some eggs, grill 5 chicken breasts, make a big and delicious tuna salad, grill some turkey burgers, make a bunch of different veggies, etc.

If you do this and keep it in the fridge, you won't have to worry about cooking when you get home late from work and running around doing errands. It will also be good for the pocket, because you will not be spending money eating out.

Once you prepare all the food, all you have to do is think about what the upcoming day entails so that you can plan how many meals you need to pack.

What should each meal contain for the "PERFECT WEDDING DIET":
1. Protein: Chicken breast, lean turkey breast, fish, egg whites, fat-free cottage cheese.
2. Carbohydrates: oatmeal, cream of wheat, sweet potatoes, baked potatoes, brown rice, lentils, garbanzo beans, whole-wheat products.
3. Vegetables: broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, squash, zucchini, mushrooms, etc.

In order for you to lose FAT, you need to speed up your metabolism. You can do this by eating a "perfect wedding diet meal" every 3-4 hours. This will cause your body to burn calories all day long because your body will have to work really hard to break down the food. Make sure the meals are small portions. By doing this, you will not CRAVE SUGAR, and you will not feel like you are STARVING! Yet you will burn a ton of FAT!!!!

Here is a simple recipe of protein muffins that you can pre-make and have them as in-between meals. They are super easy to make and they are yummy!!!
